  • "big girls don't cry"

a nice break up song... the lyrics are so powerful.

when someone breaks up with someone for their personal 'right' reasons, you sometimes wonder if they're being heroic towards the relationship or just being plain stupid. you might say that they're heroic, in that, they're saving the relationship to let it go into that friendship stage again afterwards, and maybe because they forsee the dark if they stay. but you might also classify them as stupid for letting go, because maybe there might have been a chance that the rain and clouds were only passing by.

[we all make mistakes, i see that now as my life intertwines with yours once again]

but either way things are said, breaking up with someone is the hardest thing to do and feel. we might look like nothings going through us...no feelings left towards the other person...but they always linger there like how we never forget a distinct scent; it'll always be in the back of our mind; all the bittersweet things that's happened and can be struck up with one simple word or picture.

[we were both so young then...things have all changed, for the better]

we can be playmates and lovers and share our secret worlds

  • the next terrorists??

the elmo's, dora the explorer, thomas the tank engine...."what are parents to do now?" - so says the news all over the US channels.
what to do? throw 'em out and move on. and if you dont want to waste the twenty dollars you've spent on buying that toy, then teach your kid not to put things in their mouths, or if that doesn't work, then take some really badass alcohol and rub off the damn paint on the toys; because China isn't going to do anything about it, and seemingly, neither is the US.

how dare the US point all the fingers at China? next thing you'll hear about is that, the US is going to blame China for the Minneapolis bridge failure because what? the concrete was produced in China? the metal was made in China? this is RIDICULOUS. if the US is so against Chinese products, then quit wearing the clothes that you're wearing! throw away those TV's, those sofas, those cars, those lamps and everything in between, because god knows that all those things are made in China, if not all, then some parts of it is. everything is made in China because the US is too freakin cheap to consider the safety of our children, our families and just the every day American.
how much is the US giving to China to help make their products? what? .25 per product? with that kind of money to work on, the Chinese are not going to buy super expensive paint to paint on those toys because they can't afford it to begin with anyway. so if the Americans want to see change in the products they're getting, then blame it on the US for not doing better inspections and not giving enough money to the overseas products being made for the Americans.
do me a favor, you ignorant Americans, and don't buy tickets to the Beijing Olympics because i dont want to hear it when you come back, ew China is gross, ew the seat popped when i sat on it with my fat ass, and ew the people there spit. get ready for it because im telling you its going to happen and i dont want to hear 'ching chang chong' when you get back. (what the hell does than even mean?!)

however, im not only condemning the US for it's finger pointing, China has had it's bad rep. and i understand why. China is notorious for these kinds of things because of the cheap labor being used. (see it as a revenge?) the Chinese have a very low value for humans, and you can see it there in their own country. so for the US to expect better from it, is just the funniest thing i've ever heard of. but of course, i wish that China will just grow up and learn to love their people for what they're worth and start treating them better.

so take back your freakin fingers, USA and point some back in your own freakin face. ...thanks for the false democracy...jerk

  • MHK 2007

*since everyones asking, heres my take on the newest winner*

    W020070723142274925237

so this is the winner for the miss hong kong pageant 2007.
i meant to watch it, but i haven't gotten around to downloading it, but i heard that they booed when they announced that she won...

her name is kayi cheung, 23, student, 5'4. apparently, she lives in the housing developments in hong kong (orginally from vancouver BC). they also said that in her competition and interview, she only came up with 'average' scores. what the heck does average mean? does it only mean that the only possible winners are the ones who score a perfect number in everything? she came out as the 'black horse' getting the least press coverage and people had a problem with her coming from the housing developments and that she was short and had a 'bun face.'

i actually think its a good thing that she won. who says that a beauty queen has to be 5'6 and taller? or that she has to be stick skinny with her ribs sticking out? i think its good that TVB finally picked a girl who's more realistic in relations to the rest of the girls in the world. for so long TVB has ignored the real women...women who actually has curves and doesn't look like barbie with impossible breast, waist, hip measurments. yeah, she may not be as gorgeous as the other past winners, but maybe she has some really amazing inner beauty, who knows. but to boo her right when they called her name out as winner is really disrespectful...quit booing and grow up
a new door has just opened for the other girls who were scared or thought that they were never pretty enough to join the pageant...celebrate that some people in hong kong are finally starting to see that beauty is more than just being starch white, skinny, and tall. because lets face it, most people in hong kong are freakin short and stout.
